Welcome to Coventry University website

We are always interested in working with people who share our interests and research goals. As well as formal links with academic and industrial organisations, we are also pleased to be able to work with individuals in a variety of ways.

• Formal vacancies are available from time to time both for staff positions and research studentships and are advertised below.
• Students who want to be involved in research outside their program of study can join us as Research Volunteers.
• Summer Internships are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students looking for a chance to undertake a short term project. Some funding opportunities are available for Coventry University students. Whilst we are happy to consider internship applications from students from other universities, UK or abroad, we can not normally offer financial assistance.
• The Centre runs an Undergraduate final year projects scheme, for students who are interested in undertaking research into Pervasive Computing as a theme for their projects. We have quite a large number of students on this scheme every year and we pride ourselves with the achievements of our young colleagues. Best projects are automatically entered for the Cogent Project Prize. You can find this year's projects on our Undregraduate Research section.
• Postgraduate students can be involved in the Centre's activities by opting to work with the Centre towards their MSc Project.
• From time to time we advertise PhD studentships. However, if you already have funding or are interested in working with Cogent in seeking funding, feel free to contact us.
